Michael Amot's comment What is the most appropriate and exciting way to celebrate the memorable 20th anniversary of ARCH ENEMY's debut album "Black Earth"? I've been thinking about it all the time. When ARCH ENEMY played at Loud Park last year, original members Johan Liiva (vo) and Christopher Amoot (Gt) participated in the current ARCH ENEMY, and played three old songs together, but I think that was really "Pure Metal Magic". The fans' reaction was amazing, and it was a great moment for all of us who were playing on stage. And the excitement at this time led to the reunion of the members of ARCH ENEMY in the late 1990s, the new project BLACK EARTH. In this BLACK EARTH, I intend to focus on playing early Arch Enemy songs. And this time, a wide range of Japan Tour has been decided. We are all really looking forward to the full reproduction of Black Earth, as well as the carefully selected songs from Stigmata and Burning Bridges on this tour! This stage in Japan will be a unique and valuable experience of the ultimate history of Melo Dick Death Metal. Don't miss it! During ARCH ENEMY’s performance at last years Loud Park Festival, the current ARCH ENEMY band was joined on stage by original members Johan Liiva (vocals) and Christopher Amott (guitar). We performed three classic songs together and it was pure metal magic. The fan response was absolutely phenomenal and everyone on stage had a great time too. This excitement triggered what has now turned into a reunion of the late 90’s lineup under the new project name BLACK EARTH, a project that will focus on performing the music from the early years of ARCH ENEMY’s career.
