Mogwai is the highest post rock band in history.
A special show that synchronizes with the new "ATOMIC" inspired by the visit to Hiroshima has been decided!
Glasgow's treasure Mogwai, who has expressed a unique rock through the past eight masterpiece albums that have already become classic and numerous legendary live performances.
Their new album, "ATOMIC," is a rework and compilation of the BBC documentary film "Atomic: Living In Dread and Promise," which was broadcast last year in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. "Atomic" is our fear of nuclear weapons, protest marches, the Cold War, the threat of military power, and Chernobyl and Fukushima. On the other hand, it is a work like a kaleidoscope with the sublime beauty of the atomic world. While summarizing the nightmares of the nuclear age, it is a dream-like quality at the same time. Stuart BraceWight, vocalist, says: "Atomic's soundtrack is one of the most intense and fulfilling projects we've been involved in as a band. Since visiting the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima, this theme has become very important for us, and as a result, it has become a very proud piece of soundtracks and albums." In fact, the Japan Tour, which includes a performance in Hiroshima for the first time in 13 years, is definitely a special experience with great significance for Mogwai and Japanese fans. It's a must-see show.
