Since his solo debut at JAPANESE GIRL in 1976, he has been involved in a wide range of activities, including co-starring with YMO.
There are many collaborations with artists of various genres such as yanokami and Hiromi Uehara.
Released the album "Welcome to Jupiter" in 2015 with truck manufacturers such as Seiho and tofubeats.
At the concert celebrating its 20th anniversary, he performed with TIN PAN. "Akiko Yano + TIN PAN PART II Satoru Concert" and two studio live video works "Two Jupiters" were released simultaneously. This year marks the 40th anniversary of his solo debut in 2016.
