Biography:
Formed mainly in Raf Edling (B) in 1984. In addition to Raif, he made his debut album with Johan Lang Quist (Vo), Class Bergwall (G), Macpe Börkman (G), and Matts Extrom (Ds), and released "EPICUS DOOMICUS METALLICUS" in 1986. The following year, in 1987, he welcomed Messiah Marr Colin as a new singer, and released his second album, NIGHTFALL, with new members, Lars Johanson (G) and Jan Lindo (Ds). This team released studio albums such as "ANCIENT DREAMS" (1988) and "TALES OF CREATION" (1989), and live albums, but Messiah left here. The band will release the album "CHAPTER IV" in 1992 with the successor singer Thomas Vicstrom of the former TALK OF THE TOWN. Around 1997, Rif renewed his members and reunited the band. Released the album "DACTYLIS GLOMERATA" featuring Michael Amot of ARCH ENEMY as a guest. And the following year, we will also announce "FROM THE 13TH SUN".
In 2002, members of the past, including Messiah Marr Colin, gathered again. After the tour, this pattern was released as a live album, and officially reunited in 2004. The resurrected work "CANDLEMASS" was announced in 2005 and attracted much attention, but after that Messiah re-withdrew. The band that welcomed former SOLITUDE AETURNUS Robert Low as his successor announced "KING OF THE GREY ISLANDS" (2007), "DEATH MAGIC DOOM" (2009), etc. In 2011, the label was transferred to Napalm Records, and in 2012, he announced "PSALM FOR THE DEAD". The band thought this album was the last, but continued to work with the vocalist Mats Levin as the vocalist. In 2016, he announced the EP "DEATH THY LOVER" and finally came to Japan for the first time at Loud Park in that year. In 2018, he released the EP "HOUSE OF DOOM", but immediately after Matts left, and the band succeeded by the original singer Johan Lang Quist returning to the electric shock. She has released her original studio album "THE DOOR TO DOOM" for the first time in a long time.
