The RHAPSODY OF FIRE in Italy, which has been extremely popular in the Symphonic/Epic Power Metal Scene, has been decided to visit Japan for the first time in about three years. As was the case with my previous visit to Japan, this time, the Japan tour has been announced as early as possible before the release of New Album, indicating that the relationship between the band and Japanese fans is still continuing.

　Since his debut in 1997, they have always presented high-quality symphonic/epic power metal sounds and have always gained high support as a pioneer in the genre, but their career over 20 years included several turbulences. One of them was forced to change the band name from RHAPSODY to RHAPSODY OF FIRE in 2006 due to rights issues, and in 2011 Luke Turili, one of the band's cores, withdrew and set up a branch called LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY.

　In recent years, Favio Lione, who had also been in charge of the frontman of ANGRA since 2013, finally announced its formal withdrawal in September 2016. Two months later, it was good that Giacomo Bori was greeted by the new singer of RHAPSODY OF FIRE, and in the spring of 2017, the best album "LEGENDARY YEARS" featuring Giacomo's feed-into Giacomo, but on the other hand, Luke and Favio have re-formed the RHAPSY. It was quite unnatural that only Alex Staropoli, out of the three original members of RHAPSODY, did not participate in the reuniting tour.

　However, despite such fans' worries, Alex steadily proceeded with the production of new works at the Honke RHAPSODY OF FIRE, completing the twelfth work "THE EIGHTH MOUNTAIN". The new work, which will be released worldwide on February 22nd, is the first original work of the new singer Giacomo, and is also an album that tells the beginning of a new concept story called "The Nephilim's Empire Saga". If you were a listener who checked "The Legend Goes On" and Rain Of Fury, which were released before the album release, you must have been excited about the workmanship. Aggressive, speedy, elegant, lyrical and dramatic metal sound is exactly the RHAPSODY OF FIRE.

　Inspired by this powerful New Album, this tour marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band's career, and Japanese fans will witness it quickly. It will be a wonderful show where you can experience pride as a pioneer of symphonic/epic power metal that never shakes through turbulences and environmental changes.
