It was in 2015 that miho(b) invited drummer haruna, who had once formed a rhythm squad with the same band, and started moving toward the formation of a new metal band. The fans were delighted with this new move of miho and haruna, who built a solid position in the scene and were widely known. In the same year, Asami, who had a fateful encounter with the introduction of an acquaintance, joined as a singer. Asami, who has participated as a chorus with many famous artists, is a singer who freely manipulates everything from bass to highs, and with her joining, she sets the direction of sound making in which a "femininity" and a "femininity" extensive vocal sings a "mass-like" intense metal sound.
In 2016, midori joined as a guitarist. At the same time, we welcome mi-ya as a support guitarist. A powerful twin guitar system was completed by two guitarists with outstanding skills. Five pieces are aligned, the band name is LOVEBITES, and it starts in earnest. On November 18, 2016, Tokyo performed at the event held at TSUTAYA O-WEST in Shibuya, and succeeded in his first live performance. Then, from the end of 2016, he started producing his first work as LOVEBITES. The EP "THE LOVEBITES EP" packed with a number of songs sharpened by mastering by Micah Yussila, mix by Mikko Cal Mira, who is also famous for his work with NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, AMORPHIS, etc. The EP "THE LOVEBITES EP" was released in May 2017.
Without waiting for the release of the EP, he started recording a full-length album in May of the same year. In August, mi-ya officially joined. It will be a 5-person group. And on October 25, the long-awaited 1st full album "AWAKENING FROM ABYSS" was released, ranking 18th overall in Oricon. With the album, he performed live in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in November and December, and U.K. In February 2018, Tokyo also sold out at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE, and on June 6, the second mini album "BATTLE AGAINST DAMNATION" will be released. From this work, mi-ya was renamed miyako.
He premiered at the Vans Warped Tour Japan 2018 Presented by XFLAG in April, performed solo performance with a mini album in June, and participated in "HEADSTRONG FES.18" hosted by ANTHEM in July. Furthermore, in August, he performed at Wacken Open Air, one of the world's largest metal festivals in Germany, and Bloodstock Open Air in England, and expanded his field to the world.
After returning to Japan, he resumed recording the album that he had started before participating in the European Festival. The long-awaited "CLOCKWORK IMMORTALITY" will be released in December 2018, with the participation of the event Metal Mania hosted by RED BULL, which also appeared in LOUDNESS. In November, just before that, we organized a European tour organized by X-ray Touring, the largest booking agency in Europe, and conducted a record-largest domestic tour of six cities across January and February 2019 after its launch. Tickets for all performances, including additional performances in March, were sold out.
