“EIGHT SIX live 2022”
"EIGHT SIX" is an annual event on the day of the atomic bombing every year.
It has been continued since 2001 to propose a kick-off to re-recognize the day of August 6 through various filters such as music and art, and this is the 21st time this year.
In this year's live act, in addition to Japan's leading instrumental band [toe], Kotoringo, who was in charge of the theme song for the movie "In the Corner of this World", will perform his first performance in Hiroshima on August 6.

Musician
After studying at Berkeley College of Music, Boston, earned a degree, moved to New York and started music production. In response to a demonstration tape sent to a Japanese radio program, Ryuichi Sakamoto found it, and debuted in Japan in 2006 with "Honichi again tomorrow".
To date, he has released 10 solo albums and 9 soundtrack albums.
He has worked on the sound track for the theater animated movie "In the Corner of this World" and won the Japan Academy Award for Excellence, the Mainichi Film Competition Music Award, and others.
In 2018, we conducted a tour in Argentina and became a hot topic.
In 2021, he arranged an orchestral arrangement of his album "Tsubame Novellette", and performed as a dance symphony with OEK and Yasuyuki Shuto under the production of Reiko Yuyama.
He has a high reputation from creators, and has worked on many films, TV animations, dramas, commercial music, etc.
As an artist who draws a pop world full of floating with outstanding piano performances and soft singing voices, he has been highly regarded as a musician for not only performing but also deepening the expression of orchestra arrangements.
