In 2021, directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi made Haruki Murakami's novel into a movie, Drive My Car attracted people all over the world and has won numerous awards in various categories, including the Cannes International Film Festival and Academy Awards.
I heard that Hiroshima, which was selected as a location location, overlapped with the concept of the movie, "a city that has been reconstructed from the wounds of the atomic bomb" and "a hero who lost his wife will play back."
In fact, I think that the story of that movie and the scenery of Hiroshima were engraved in the hearts of many people as one difficult-to-understand image.
It was musician Hideko Ishibashi who made the music. Soundtracks have also been released, and many people are listening by car. A special live in Hiroshima will be held for two days in a band composed of seven people, including Jim Oluk, Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, Marty Jolo Beck, Daisuke Fujiwara, Kitsu Matsumaru, and ermhoi, who produced music with Hideko Ishibashi.
I hoped that the music that ran through with the night view of Hiroshima would actually be performed live in Hiroshima.
On the day, it will be a night where you can enjoy the world of Hideko Ishibashi, focusing on the songs of "Drive My Car". May the story of loss and rebirth that has reached the hearts of many wounded people be revived by music for two days.
