Black midi's guitar / vocal, Jodi Grepe, has completed a solo album and decided to come to Japan on a Japan tour!

Jodi Greene presents a solo album called "The New Sound". As a frontman of black midi, with his tremendous sharp performance and band ensemble, the memory of the large audience who gathered at the white stage of the Fuji Rock Festival last year's white stage remains vivid, and as soon as possible, he presented a work called "The New Sound" as a solo artist.
Three phenomenal albums in Black Midi, which had been a nonstop tour of the world for nearly five years, traveled to two continents of Sao Paulo and London, and produced more than 30 session musicians involved in the production, leaving himself to impulse. Half of the songs contain sound sources recorded with Brazilian local musicians, and it is a great challenge that boldly incorporates primitive rhythms and Latin flavors. In black midi's live, Seth Evans, a keyboard and synth, was the producer, and an alternative pop that wrapped everything in high quality was completed.
The world tour was announced at the same time as the album announcement the other day. And here in Japan, I decided to choose a small live house and go on a new sound journey around five cities (Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima). Join us for this new sound experience, which creates a close music experience with the musicians and fans who come together!
