information

Born in North London in 1988, James Break was influenced by artists such as Gospel, Seoul, Johnny Mitchell and Di Angelo, after learning piano from an early age and acquiring the basics of classical music, and started composing music.

With the hit of the single "CMYK" released by RISING HIGH in 2010, his personality has been rapidly attracting attention from various media as a prodigy of dub Step, and in the rookie list <BBC Sound OF 2011>, which is expected to be active in 2011, he appeared in second place and announced his long-awaited debut album "JAMES BLAKE" in February this year. A unique approach that combines delicate melodies, unregulated rhythms, complex beats, tight sounds and post-dubstep sounds with silence, and James himself's vocals against the backdrop of Seoul, gave the scene a shock and future. This extraordinary talent not only destroys the boundaries of music, but also transcends it and extends to the musical universe.

Even here in Japan, the import board has become a big hit and has become a hot topic, and the long-awaited first visit to Japan was decided in June.
