Debuted in 1977 with album "Fanny Warkin" with Motoharu Sano. Released 4 solo albums and others.
Since 1980, he has been a photographer and has been active in advertising and magazines, and has lived in Paris for five years.
Released the 1996 album "Love is a drug" in U.K., the United States, and Japan. The single title song is the first Japanese artist to be selected as "single of the week" by NME.
Released album "Luminous love in 23" produced by Simon Raymonde from Bella Union, England in 1998.
Released "sisters on the floor" in 2000, produced by Mark Bingham, who worked on R.E.M.

In addition to releasing numerous solo works, including limited releases by self-produced works such as "NU GAZER" ([11), "POETRACKS" ([11), "LUCKY PURPLE MYSTERY CIRCLE" ([17), he has participated as a guitarist in works such as QN, THE OTOGIBANASHI'S and GIVVN. He is also active in various fields such as artwork, film production, and music for shows. The three-man tour with Jim Olurk and Hideko Ishibashi, which took place in 2017-2018, attracted a lot of attention.
