The Ska Band was formed in Nagoya in 1990. With music styles strongly influenced by Jamaica music, Ska and Rockstedy, and rough and tough live performances, he is growing enthusiastic fans while growing along with the Ska scene in Nagoya. He also co-starred with many Jamaica Legends, and held "THE RUDE PRESSURES LIVE" at the Nagoya Club Kuatro every January.
To date, he has released a number of albums, Live sound sources, collaboration singles with Mr. Wadamakoto and DJ MONKEE PUNCH, and released his 5th album "LOCAL" in January 2020.
WADA MAMBO (Wadamakoto)
A unique guitarist/singer who is the leader of cassette stoves called Japan's best, and is a unique guitarist/singer who is unique in scenes around Caribbean music.
In parallel with his activities in various bands such as cassette stoves and Peng Peng Dong Peee, he has just released his solo home record work "WADA MAMBO homemade2".
The guitar instrument collection, which emits the sorrow of caribbean scent with intaku, became a topical work that made your favorite things grow.

Sal（Chant Down Babylon）
An important figure in the scene that has continued to be a selector since the beginning of the club scene in Nagoya. He focuses on vintage reggae such as sca, rockstedy, and 70'S reggae, and covers various genres such as calipso, Latin, blues, and jazz. The song selection, which has an earthy and tropical play style fused with a unique sense, captures and does not release what you listen to with a vivid melody and a fascinating rhythm. "CHANT DOWN BABYLON" will be held regularly on the fourth Saturday of odd months at a long-established club Buda in Nagoya. In 2019, he directed the eve festival, "NEW DIRECTION," a project commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Nagoya Club Kuatro.
KENGO69 (GRAIN)
Jamaican Oldies felt a strong coolness and started collecting records. Knowing the local ska scene in Nagoya and was inspired by many shocks, focusing on Suka and Rockstedy, especially on early reggae songs from the late 60s to the 1970s, and polishing their unique expressions every day to convey their charm. Currently, his own bird-event "Bar Style DJ Party. GRAIN" will be held on the second Monday of even months at BAR SHIVA.

The owner of DJ bar "Kalakuta Disco" select shop "oorun". They prefer to select 60s-70s psychedelic Reggae, Latin, Afro, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues, etc. Regular play at "Rocking Steady" which will be held on the first Saturday at "Kalakuta Disco" and "Malibu Coffee".
