<Masayo Ando> Guitarist/composer/producer
Renamed "THE SQUARE" in 1989 as "T-SQUARE". (Same as below) was formed and made a professional debut in 1978.
Since then, he has been leading the band as a leader and composer for 43 years until he left in 2021.
An unusual melody of Ando attracted many fans and led T-SQUARE to Japan's leading fusion band.
In 1987, "TRUTH" composed by Ando was used as a theme song for the broadcast of Fuji TV's "F-1 Grand Prix" and recorded a huge hit. Since then, he has been working on theme songs and game sound sources for numerous programs. He was in charge of music for the role-playing game "Arczarad" of the first PlayStation, and has continued to be used in subsequent series as the main theme. In addition, he is in charge of music for the "Gran Turismo" series, which has become a big hit all over the world, and has earned a high reputation as a composer.
In 1997, while working at T-SQUARE, he formed an acoustic guitar duo "Anmitsu" with guitarist Mikuriya Yuji, who was also the first member of THE SQUARE. He is still active today.
In the future, when "Masyo Ando" became the title, we will develop music activities that pursue "quality as a creator of our own."
<Yuyuki Noritake> Drummer/composer
Joined "THE SQUARE" in 1985 and made a professional debut.
His 15-year-old activities were widely recognized both in Japan and overseas, including performing at PLAYBOY JAZZZ FESTIVAL in the United States and receiving 10 Japan Gold Disc Awards (JAZZ category). In 1999, he released his solo album "DREAMS CAN GO!"
