STRANGER COLE <Stranger Call>

Born in Kingston, Jamaica. In the early 1960s, he started his activities in the early days of Jamaica Ska, and continued to sing in Jamaica music transformation from Ska and rocksteaddy to reggae, including the representative song "ROUGH & TOUGH", "YEAH BABY", "WHEN YOU CALL MY NAME", "JUST LIKE A RIVERY", "NUMERY", "A RYVERY", ", etc. One of the few living-legend singers who know the history of Jamaica music. In 2007, he visited Japan for the first time in "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL" with performances in Tokyo and Osaka. And this time, the long-awaited performance in Japan for the first time in six years will be decided to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Nagoya Club Kuatro!

The Ska Band was formed in Nagoya in 1990. He has co-starred with numerous Jamaica legends with music styles strongly influenced by Jamaica music Ska and Rockstedy and rough and tough live performances, and has grown into a solid band sound with the ska scene in Nagoya, increasing the number of enthusiastic fans while growing. Every January, "THE RUDE PRESSURES LIVE" is held at Nagoya Club Kuatro. Released the 5th. album "LOCAL" in 2020, and this summer, released the 7-inch single "HEARTACHE / YOU AND ME" in collaboration with The Drops' "TAKAKO". This is the second time he has performed with Stranger Call in eight years.

From 1997 to 2017, he was active as a vocal for the rockstedy band "DREAMLETS". Since 2018, he has resumed his activities as a vocal for BLUE BEAT GIRLS GROUP BAND <The DROPS>. In September 2023, the first 7-inch single was released.

Sal（Chant Down Babylon）

An important person in the scene who has been DJing with a career of over 30 years based in Nagoya. It covers a wide range of genres, including calipo, Latin, blues, and jazz, with a focus on vintage reggae such as sca, rockstedy, and 70'S reggae. The play style that skillfully blends Arcy and tropical song selection with a unique sense does not release what you listen to with a vivid melody and fascinating rhythm. "CHANT DOWN BABYLON" is being held on the fourth Saturday of odd months at a long-established club Buda in Nagoya. Various DJs, bands and artists, both in Japan and overseas.

Many co-stars. Last year, he appeared in "Asagiri JAM", and in July this year he decided to perform "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL", and continued to expand his field of activity.

JAMAICAN VINTAGE MUSIC Selector for 30 years, owner of "FAR EAST RECORDS". With the motto of FOUNDATION, I try to select songs different from people. In 2009, with the victory of Sound Crash in London, he expanded his activities overseas and performed with numerous Jamaican artists and selectors. In-house production, DUKE REID CLASSICS started in 2016, selected 54 record singles (as of January 2024), and continued to disseminate domestic press MADE IN JAPAN to the world. Currently, irregularly holding a regular party "BOND STREET" at Torako Shokudo (Shibuya, Tokyo).
