【Jack’s Mannequin】

Jack Mannequin started his career in 2004 as a solo project by Andrew McMahon, lead vocalist and pianist of the rock band "Samsing Corporation". 5-member band from Orange County, California, which debuted in November 2001. Samsing Corporation attracted attention as a unique band that boldly used piano for the pop punk/emos scene. The front man and songwriter at the time, 19-year-old Andrew, a genius honorable, combined with his youth and look, quickly picked up the position of a popular band. However, in the summer of 2004, members who were exhausted from tour life stopped their activities. Andrew took a lot of time to shape the ideas he had warmed during the tour, and started making songs and recordings without being forced to close.
There was no contract with a record company, recording was started with his pocket money, where Jim Wat, producer of thumbing Corporation, and support guitarist of thumbing Corporation Robert Anderson, Bobby Law and others joined the work took place over a summer. After that, his manager brought demo tape to Mavelic Records and the contract was finalized, with Tommy Lee of Motley Crue as guests, and the first album "Evlicing in Transit" was completed. However, after the album was completed, Andrew was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia in May 2005, and the planned tour was canceled. Music has to be suspended, but the album released in August of the same year ranked 37th in the U.S. charts. Currently, the disease has recovered, and the Japanese version was released in April 2006, and a performance in Japan was realized in January 2007. In October 2008, the second album "The Grass Passenger" was released, and in January 2009 he will perform again in Japan. In 2010, Andrew and Bobby performed in Japan on an acoustic set, and gained great popularity. And in October 2011, he released the long-awaited 3rd album "People and Single". In March 2012, he visited Japan with a band set and showed his popularity.
