The latest stage of Toshihide, whose long-awaited Osaka performance, the highest peak of contemporary jazz guitar, has been decided and evolved.
Julian Large, who is known as the highest jazz guitarist born this century, came to Japan on a trio. He started playing guitar at the age of 5 and performed at the Grammy Prize award ceremony at the age of 12. He has been attracting attention as a guitar prodigy since childhood, and has been active in a Gary Burton band at the age of 15. He established his position as a musician and presented his first leader work, Sounding Point, at the age of 20. In addition to his own activities, he has continued to attract music fans across genres, including collaborations with Nels Kleine and Charles Lloyd.
