She is a singer/songwriter/guitarist living in France. A soulful vocal with a sense of British-American rock, blues and jazz, incorporating falsets, and a pop melody that you will never forget once you listen to it. Born in 1975 between a Senegal father and a mother from Martinik. She moved to France with her mother when she was 2 years old. The guitar given by her mother when she was 15 years old is a catalyst for her music life. Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Renny Kravitz, and Delta Bruce, Folk, Bluegrass, Jazz…Build a unique world while being influenced by American music. Moved to Paris in 1998 and sang on the subway and bar, and debuted in 2001 with the album "Rail de Liyan". More than 100 concerts a year around the world also gained a reputation and quickly became a star. All of the albums released are French gold discs.
In Japan, from 2005 to 2006, songs from the second album "A La Favour de Lawton" were used as the theme song for NHK Educational TV "French Conversation". He performed live performances in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima in 2005, and in Fukuoka in 2007 in addition to four cities, and sold out for two days in Shibuya Club Quatro in 2007, and became a hot topic in co-starring with Krambon. The 3rd "Le Sakuru de Reming" released in 2006 recorded the first place in the French iTunes chart at the same time as the release.
In April 2009, THE BOOM's "I want to be the wind" was featured on a TV commercial of Kirin Can Chuhai Iced. The latest work "The First Brightness of Dawn" (2010) is the first United States recording with Los Lobos' Stave Barlin as co-producer. In the French iTunes chart, it won the first place at the same time as it was released again. Also, since March 2011, it was selected as the theme song for NHK Radio No. 2 "Mainichi French", and Tete's song is on air.
