EXNE-Music for TOHOKU-vol.2
Shortly after Great East Japan Earthquake, Shibuya Club Kurotoro was held on March 17th and 18th this year, and the charity event "EXNE - Music for TOHOKU - without permission." Under the theme of "delivering songs with live sounds", this event was a live performance by unique musicians with an unplugged set that does not use power as much as possible, and it has received a great response. Since then, live performances in various places, donations at venues, Ustrem broadcasts and Internet donations, releases of sound sources, etc. have been spreading, but this time, the second live event at Shibuya Club Quatro has been decided in a hurry.

After the earthquake, I visited the affected areas such as Sendai, Ishinomaki, and Koriyama. With the efforts of the residents, disaster volunteers, the activities of the SDF, and the gathering of many goodwill, it was felt that one step toward recovery was progressing. However, it was clear from the sight that the restoration of industry and towns and the peaceful life of all residents took time. And the heart that has to face reality for a long time.
By engaging in music, I have traveled to towns all over Japan, met many friends, and encouraged me. Thanks to music, I feel like I was able to jump over various barriers. Each of us is not helpless and we can't help everything. However, I believe that having music allows people to come back and forth with each other. And you should be able to snuggle up all the time.
Starting with the support of many musicians and artists, the "EXNE Project without permission" started with Shibuya Quatro's full live sound live performance on March 17 and 18, followed by live performances at Banban Bazaar Ishinomaki and release of charity sound sources.
For two days on August 11 and 12, "EXNE-music for TOHOKU-vol.2" will be held at Shibuya Kuatro. A lot of musicians will come together again. And let's share the "future" while having fun together. In addition, we hope that the donations collected in this project will help disaster area recover music. We look forward to your visit.
