Beginning as a solo project by Zack Condon, from Santa Fe, New Mexico. In May 2006, Condon released his debut album "Gulag Orkestar" based on his home recording source when he was only 19 years old, on the New York label Ba Da Bing! The unique sound of Condon's low and glossy Crewer Voice and the influence of Balkan music inspired by his trip to Eastern Europe is interwoven by DIY multiple recordings, and in November of the same year, a pair of EP "Lon Gisland" coupling with the first band recording from 4AD. In October 2007, he released his second album, The Flying Club Cup, which reflects his longing for France. In particular, the popularity in Western Europe will be immovable. In 2009, he released a pair of EPs that couples "March of the Zapotec", which was recorded as a local big band in Oakaka, Mexico, and in contrast, an electronic "Holland" based on Condon's home record. Currently, based in Brooklyn, he is performing live in a band composed of six members.

Born in Tokyo. Since his debut in 2004, he has released four full albums so far. He works on his own lyrics, composition, arrangement, performance, recording, and mixing. On stage, while using various compositions and arrangements such as solos, trios, and sexes, performances full of propulsion different from recordings are developed. While pursuing unique pops based on Japanese lyrics, his music has been highly evaluated in Europe, the United States, and Asian countries.
