On the way to Rock and Roll's glory, the remains of the bands, which had burned brightly for a few moments, disappeared like a sparkler in a cloud of distorted ambitions, sling and scattered. But sometimes a band walks, talks, and locks like a true savior who saves the spirit and soul of our beloved music. Founded in Northern Ireland in 2000, The Anther spent ten years demonstrating the ability of rock and rolls, and has lived while claiming music that threatens the eardrum, completely different from the mediocre. After a few self-produced small releases, the band was selected as the "Best New Band" in 2005 for his debut single "Keep Believin'" as the "Classic Rock Awards" and appeared in the main stream spotlight. The following year, this young band met his early expectations with his debut album "Rise". The album has received a great reputation worldwide and delighted everyone, from hard-to-handle classic rock fans to hopeful teenagers who love the best rock and rolls, supporting the reputation of growing with great momentum, such as "under The Sky", "Into The Gutter" and "Come Follow Me". "Rise" sold more than 125,000 copies worldwide, and this amazing success made the world enthusiastically embraced The Anther on a further scale when the band released its second album, "Everyday Demons," three years later. Thanks to their terrifying reputation of being a phenomenal live band and the most promising rookie of rock, the band went around the world and stepped into some of the biggest venues on Earth for two years at AC/DC.
Undoubtedly The Anther (in addition to Mahon, always charismatic frontman Cormac Nison, bassist Mickey Waters, and drummer James Heytray's Powerhouse Rhythm section) have accomplished quite a bit in their career so far, but 2011 will surely be the most glorious year of their ever. The band recently finished his third album, Revival, and the album was recorded together with producer Chris "Frenchie" Smith at two locations in Texas, El Paso and Austin. It's a thrilling and powerful rock-and-roll album that combines the most wonderful elements of the artistic story unique to The Anther, coupled with fresh adventures of new ideas and sounds, and the sound is likely to go back to that big arena or stadium. But this time they are touring as headliners under their own names.
Over the past few years, The Anther has been touring as an AC/DC guest while keeping a chance to go around the world on his headliner tour, but now the future of doing rock and roll tours under his own name is open to the band. Armed with incitive new songs this fall, with new goals and confidence to go on a tour, Gi Ansa is transforming into an unstoppable force that has always been claiming.
"We have a lot of plans for the next few years. "I can't wait for me to go back to the tour," says Nison. "The seventeen brand-new songs are waiting for their departure, and we like them. Rehearsals are already very exciting. I'm combining a variety of sets of old and new songs. Once officially started, we will be on a tour for the next two years. I must be prepared for it. I hope that the time will come soon. For I'm already ready for departure!"
