"Skiyaki Meets the World" is a festival that has been introducing world music and culture around the world for over 20 years in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. This year, the interlocking project "Skiyaki Tokyo", which started last year to introduce the artists who came to Japan in a different way from the head family, will be held again this year.
On the first night, "Gunawa Diffesion", which consists of members living in France from Northern Africa and Algeria, sang the modernization and liberalization of culture, politics, and society in a style that incorporates traditional music Gnawa and reggae, hip-hop, and rock, and made a big leap in northern African music, reunited for the first time in five years and came to Japan.
