"Alive on Arai Val" was bought at the same time as it was released. I was sung in a single shot with a wrinkled voice with a gap from the child's face reflected in the joke. It can be said to be a perfect debut album with a collection of famous songs that live together with concise but poetic lyrics, blue smell and thoughtfulness. The sound was acoustic folk rock, but there was an edge that resonated in the 1978-year period from punk to New Wave. When he came out to New York in 1976, he served as the forehead of Talking Heads at CBGBs, and the first manager was a combination of Ramones. I felt the same age with albums such as Springstine's <a city barking in the darkness>, Elvis Costel's <disears model>, Warren Givon's <excitable boy>, Gream Parker's <Stick to Me>, and Elliott Murphy's <American Hero>.
More than 30 years have passed since then. The second film created a big hit called "Roomeo's Song", which was the peak of his commercial success, and has been active as an indi artist since 1998. The enriching content of the latest work "Over with You" released last year reflects the years when he continued to refine his songwriting without compromising the fashion. And from the background of the production that Ben Harper gave up a part of his studio time and the participation of the most notable singer-songwriter cellist Ben Solly, I am happy to see the great respect for the stave of my juniors.
This is the first time in 33 years since I visited Japan for the first time in 1980. A rich set list of songs that mix new and old will be expected from Jimmy Rogers Tribute in 2002, as well as to respond to requests. Don't miss it. Tadashi Igarashi
