Born in Kyoto, a guitarist and songwriter and producer, debuted in 1993 as a guitarist of "JUDY AND MARY". He supported his activities as a main songwriter, including composing and lyricing many hit songs such as "Classic", "Whale 12", and "Irotorino Sekai". He disbanded JUDY AND MARY in 2001, and started solo activities in 2002. Since 2005, he has been active as a producer, and has worked on many artists not only in Japan but also in Japan. He is also involved in a comedy unit called Shopping Street Band, which combines music live and contests formed with comedy combination U.S. crayfish. In April 2015, the company announced the concept of "making Fukuoka a hub for Asian music" at Slush Asia.
