The last waltz of vintage New Wave
"The Legend of Hull Men's X,"
Debuted in the early 1980s, Kenzo Saeki (Pearl Brothers), Koji Ueno (Guernica et al.), Toshiro Sensui (Yap's, Hikasho, etc.) were enrolled, and Hull Mens sent out new talents such as Jun Togawa and Maki Nomiya to the world. Due to its short period of activity, a band called the "legendary New Wave Band" was revived in Japan in the 2010s as Hull Men's X. On September 21st (Wednesday), the new album "35th Century" (Victor Entertainment) was released.
Participating artists are Saeki's godmother and closely related Denpagumi. Inc to Misuzu Furukawa & Dream Sleeping, Keiichi Suzuki (Moon Riders), who served as director of Hull Men's in the 1980s, Urban Gards who self-recognize the descendants of Hull Men's, Naoe Maki (carnation) who shares the feeling of Hull Men's, young artists such as Hull Men's, special talents such as Yutaka Tenko, Yutaka Tenko, and Hull's.
The 21st century version of Hull Men's Sound, Kenzo Saeki's lyrics depicting today's situation on a surreal, and a mysterious and rich world that brings together the details of the original Hull Men's associate member Hotaruichi Ota (ex Guernica) to rise. It is truly a "Vintage New Wave" that reminds me of the essence of "New Wave", which emerged as an art movement with social satire in the 1980s.
The event "Legend of Hull Men's X" commemorating the release of this album was held at Shibuya Club Kuatro. Keiichi Suzuki, Masahiro Naoe, Koichi Makigami (Hikasho), Ilia (Jussy Fruit), Mishio Ogawa (Chakra), Kiyonori Matsuo & Susumu Isshiki (Cinema), Shingo Kubota's representative song, Shingo Kubota's 8 Shingon (Sinema), Shingo Kubota's representative song. Hull Men's X's activities are scheduled to be sealed at this event, following the Hull Men's dissolution event "The Legend of Hull Men's" in 1982.
