BB SEATON meets Matt Sounds
This is the sixth "Rockstedy Legend" series, which is enthusiastic about fans every time it goes out in various places. This series is a valuable live show where you can see the stage of Jamaica's living national treasure-class legends in response to the recent analog boom. Legends who are the owners of hit songs that have been sung for more than 50 years and have expensive values for their original records.
And finally it is the appearance of the BB SEATON of The Gaylads (The Gaylads). As the leader of The Gaylads, BB began full-scale activities at Coxon Dodd's Studio One Records, known as Jamaica's motor-un, and released a vivid debut album "Soul Beat" with hit songs such as "Peculiar Man" and "Red Rose". Since then, he has been covered by many artists, such as "ABC Rocksteady" and "Joy In The Morning" from prestigious labels such as High Note, Gay Feet, and Beverley's.
BB SEATON also offers many songs to big artists such as Ken Booth, The Melodians, and Deloi Wilson.
The back of this visit to Japan is the "Rockstedy Legend" series, which has worked perfectly to support famous artists such as Keith & Tex, Carlton & the Shoes, Leroy Sibbles (The Heptones), Stranger Cole, and Christopher Ellis.

(born in Kingston, 1944)
Harris BB Seaton began singing as a singer in the early 1960s at the age of 16. Winston Delano Stewart and BB Seaton were recording two songs in a duo called Winston & Bibby, but in 1964, Maurice Roberts joined and the Gaylads started. He started full-scale activities with Coxon Dodd's Studio One Record, which is called Jamaica's motorwn, and released his debut album "Soul Beat" with songs such as "Peculiar Man" and "Red Rose", and established himself in Studio One. At the same time, he also performed a band activity called Ken Booth and Bibby & The Astronauts, not only performed most of "Soul Beat", but also boasted tremendous popularity, and had a very strong influence on recording at Studio One.
However, Gaylads left Studio One in late 1967, and "Hard To Confess" released on the Rainbow label of Sonia Pottinger, who presides labels High Note and Gay Feet, became a huge hit, followed by "ABC Rocksteady" as a hit from the Gay Feet label and is still a famous rocksteady song.
"Joy In The Morning" recorded for WIRL also became a big hit and became one of the representative songs of Jamaica, which is covered and played forever around the world.
In addition to providing songs to Ken Booth, Melodyans, Deloi Wilson and others, BB Seatton also launched Links, the first artist label with them, and hit Ken Booth's Can't You See and Melodians' It Comes And Goes, but ended to tighten other producers.
In addition, he recorded on Leslie Kong's Beverley's label, which mass-produced hits at the time, and was crowded with charts such as "There's A Fire" and "My Jamaican Girl", and "Fire & Rain", which was also the title of the third album. BB Seaton founded his own label Soul Beat, his band Conscious Minds, played in charge of label management and copyright protection for Jamaica musicians, and now lives in London and continues to work as an artist.
