Formed in 1982 by members of the Turreg tribe, a member of the Bebels who have lived nomadic life in Sahara. Since then, he has been releasing on cassette tapes based in the Republic of Mali, but since the release of his first CD work "The Radio Tisdas Sessions" (2000), his music has been highly acclaimed in Europe and the United States as "Blues of the Desert", and has been awarded the Best Music 1 album by renowned artists such as Bono, Tom Yoke, Santana, Robert Plant and Brian Iass. After that, they were forced to move their bases to the United States and France due to the deterioration of the political situation in Mali, but with the pride of Tureeg, they have been actively releasing and performing as a "Desert Blues" missionary. It's just the charisma of the struggle. The latest album is "Elwan" (2017), which also participated by Mark Lanegan (Queens of the Stone Age) and Cart Weil.
