SPARKS

A pop band formed in Los Angeles in 1968 by the Male brothers of Ron (keyboard) and Russell (vocal), and is still a cult-pop band that is still popular around the world today, celebrating its 50th anniversary. In his long career, the style has varied, but consistently "sparks sound" has influenced the birth of bands such as Depesch Mode, New Order, and Zey Mite B Giants. He has released 21 albums so far, and in 2015 he formed FFS, a collaboration band with Francs Ferdinand, and released the album "FFS". He performed as a headliner at HOSTESS CLUB ALL-NIGHTER held in August of the same year. In September 2017, he released his original album "Hipopotamath" for the first time in nine years, and in October last year he came to Japan for a solo performance.
