20th Anniversary Japanese Performance

Janet Klein
―The diva who has made a time trip from the world of Chaplin―

Debuted with "Com in My Parlor" in 1998. A vocalist active mainly in Hollywood with a ukulele in one hand. All styles, including music, album artwork, stage costumes, etc., are images of pre-war and early 20th century, as if Betty Boop had jumped out of the screen, shocking music fans not only in the United States but also in Europe, Australia, and Japan. He sang and performed American music, pops, vodville, blues, ragtime, jazz, Hawaiians, etc. before World War II (1910s-30s), "mostly unknown, adorable and shady songs." The cute and nostalgic singing voice attracts not only nostalgic fans but also young people who are sensitive to culture. I have released 8 albums so far. He has visited Japan four times in the past and performed at the Fuji Rock Festival in 2008. This year's fifth tour is the first visit to Japan in 10 years, with the best album of his 20th week debut.
