YARD ACT <Yard Act>

Yard Act is a rock band based in Leeds, England, formed in 2019. The members are James Smith (vocal), Ryan Nidam (bass), Sam Sijipston (guitar) and Jay Russell (drum). As old friends, they are looking for social and political gray shadows and blowing sharp and satirical humor into the story with spokesword. While building the sound unique to Leeds in his hometown, West Yorkshire Province, it links all aspects of modern U.K. life, including the countryside in the local pub, the anti-capitalists who were stuck in desk work, and the activists who were shaken and tired between easy compliment and fighting spirits that exist in all of us. Their sound and philosophies may be progressive, but they are opening their eyes instead of pointing their back fingers.
