The legendary band UGUISS in the 80's, a reunited live commemorating the 40th anniversary of debut has been decided!
UGUISS debuted on the EPIC label in 1983 with members of Yoshiyuki Sahashi (guitar), Toshifumi Shibata (keyboard), Jun Matsumoto (drums), Akira Ito (keyboard, synth bass), and Eiko Yamane (vocal). He produced his second album in 1984, but suddenly broke up before the release. Since then, Sahashi, Shibata, and Matsumoto have been active at the forefront as session musicians, and have developed a career that is no exaggeration to say that he has built the history of J-POP for the past 40 years.
The 40th anniversary analog reprint will be released on April 24, 2024, featuring the 1st masterpiece that can be said to be the starting point and the 2nd album that has become a phantom. The sound full of the taste of Western music in the 70s and 80s showed a remarkable personality even in the 1980s, and at the same time, it is never old, and you can fully enjoy its extraordinary talent.
And the re-organization live was decided. Now is the time for UGUISS to be heard again!
