DIRTY PROJECTORS

NY is a six-member band from Brooklyn.
In 2002, David (Vo, G) formed the band. After several member changes, it is now a six-member organization consisting of Nat (B), Amber (G, Vo), Brian (Ds), Haley (Vo) and Angel (Vo) in addition to Dave. To date, he has released five studio albums. The fifth album of 2009, "Bitte Orca", which was released for the first time after moving to DOMINO in the UK, has a full-fledged break with the best album of the year. In his first visit to Japan in 2010, he sold out the Tokyo performance, returned to Japan at Fuji Rock 10, and appeared on Orange Court and Red Marky. The wonderful live performance has also been proven. In 2011, the charity collaboration work "Mount Wittenberg Orca" with Björk also became a hot topic.
And the long-awaited new album "Swiglow Magellan", which will be the biggest shocking work in 2012, has been released. A masterpiece that has blossomed with the charm of original and new Darty Projectors.
And the long-awaited, missed and strictly forbidden visit Japan will be decided.

DUSTIN WONG

Dustin Wong was born in Hawaii and moved to Japan at the age of two. In the middle and high school days, he opened his eyes to punks and alternatives, and when he was in highteen, he was active as a band/designer of his friends Yutaka Hewlett and Delaware, as well as Eli, who was also a member of Hajime Tachibana and Low Powers, a unique band that uses the ringtones of his mobile phone for okes and sings. Yutaka and the guitar Japanese.
After traveling to the United States to go to college and then to Baltimore, he started the activities of Matt Papitch and Extatic Sunshine. At the same time, he formed a ponytail with his classmates at the art university he attended. The chaotic sound, compared with Boadoms and Animal Collectives, and the live performance of raging, became a hot topic in a blink of an eye. He also released his debut album from Carpark as Extatic Sunshine. While minimal and experimental sounds are highly acclaimed from many fields, Dustin will leave. Ponytail was also expected to have a further break, but suddenly announced a suspension of activity (formally announced dissolution on September 22, 2011). In 2010, Dustin signed with Thrill Jocky to release his solo album "Infinite Love".
A large number of effectors The guitar performance like a kaleidoscope that draws a minimal and colorful layer by making full use of various effects such as delays, loops, etc., according to the feet.
In 2012, he released his fourth solo album "Dreams Say, View, Create, Shadow Leads", and in April, he also practiced Japanese tours to commemorate the release of records. He also performs on NHK live beats. After a tour with Mountain Goats, he opened the release commemorative live of Darty Projectors' latest work, Swing Lo Magellan, which was held in Brooklyn in July, and in September he had a US tour with Beach House.
