A group of five people from Stockholm, Sweden. Formed in 1990. Debuted in 1995 with Orchid. Through tours and membership changes with MORBID ANGEL, CRADLE OF FILTH, etc., he released his work as the 2nd "Morningrise" in 1996, the 3rd "My Arms, Your Herse" in 1997, and the 4th "Still Life" in 1999. In 2001, he released the 5th Blackwater Park, featuring Step Wilson of PORCUPINE TREE as a producer. He has appeared on long-standing world tours and European festivals, making his popularity immovable. Furthermore, in 2002, he released his 6th "Deliverance" in pursuit of Heviness and the 7th "Damation" with the ultimate mellow beauty. He also performed on large-scale tours of the United States and "DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL" and gained worldwide recognition. And in 2005, he released the 8th "Ghost Reveries". After that, he participated in large-scale tours such as "SOUNDS OF UNDERGROUND TOUR" and "GIGANTOUR" with MEGADETH as headliner. In addition, she performed at LOUD PARK 06, Japan's largest metal festival, and made her long-awaited first visit to Japan. Its overwhelming performance has led to a sharp rise in recognition and reputation in Japan. After that, the member change took place again, but the new guitarist was the Fredrick Okeson of the former ARCH ENEMY, and in May 2008, the long-awaited new work "Watershed" was released. In August of the same year, the long-awaited first solo performance in Japan was finally held, and the Tokyo venue was sold out. Furthermore, in 2009, he performed his second visit to Japan with the same album, which was unusual. After taking off for a while, the band went to the studio again and completed the long-awaited new work "HERITAGE". However, immediately after completion, Peru announced that he would withdraw from the band and continue his activities with Hoakim. In February 2012, a performance was held in Japan for the first time in about two and a half years. One year from there, a tour in a small club will be decided!
