HANOI ROCKS, a rock and roll band that became legendary in the 1980s. After the dissolution in 2009, it was announced in January 1998 that Michael Monroe (vo, sax, harmonica), the frontman of HANOI ROCKS, formed a new rock band. He released his live album "ANOTHER NIGHT IN THE SUN" in 2010 and came to Japan at "SUMMER SONIC" in the same year. Then, the following week after Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, she released the studio album "SENSORY OVERDRIVE" with Jack Douglas as the producer. In June of the same year, we held a Japan tour with HARDCORE SUPERSTAR. However, immediately after that, Ginger left. As a successor, BACKYARD BABIES's doragen (g, vo) will join immediately. It became a new lineup, and in October of the same year, he made his third visit to Japan with V-ROCK FESTIVAL.
In November 2011, "SENSORY OVERDRIVE" was the best album of the year at a music ceremony by the British legendary rock magazine "Classic Rock". Furthermore, in January 2012, MICHAEL MONROE was selected as the best band and SENSORY OVERDRIVE was selected as the best rock album at Emma Gaala, a Finnish Grammy Award. In the spring of the same year, after receiving an offer to participate in L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel's tribute album, they recorded and provided their song "Heaven's Drive". In November 2012, he started recording New Album at a studio in Sweden. In February 2013, the band performed as a special guest at the SLASH Finnish performance. In August, he finally released the first studio album "HORNS AND HALOS" after joining Dragen.
