Indie artists who participate in SXSW and aim for the world gather!
[SXSW: South by Southwest Music Festival]
The world's largest indie band festival held in Austin, Texas every March.
It has expanded its scale as a gateway to young artists aiming for the world, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
There are 10,000 entries from all over the world, and 2500 to 3000 selected artists will present their showcases.
In recent years, major artists such as Perfume and Wednesday Campanella have appeared from Japan, and it has become a hot topic, but since the 1990s, more than 200 Japanese bands have appeared in Japanese indie bands, seizing the opportunity to the world. The world is paying attention to the high musicality and originality of Japanese indie bands set in SXSW. Appearance application started from August to March 2017.
