Born in Philadelphia, USA, he made his solo debut after working as a guitarist for The War on Drugs. In 2009, Cart Weil became one of the leading artists in the US indie scene in his 4th album "Smoke Ring for My Hello", which was transferred to a long-established US company <Matador> and released. In addition, "Waikin on a Pritty Days", released in 2013, won the best new music of pitch fork in two consecutive titles. He released his sixth album, "Billave Im Goin Down," for the first time in about two years, last September. As a producer, Rob Schnapf, known for Elliott Smith and others, recorded and mixed in various places including Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, and as a result, he became a leading artist in the US rock scene with a sound masterpiece album that travels from east to west.
