In 2012, he released his 10th album, New Album, and appeared as a headliner on Hostess Club Weekender. When he came to Japan, he also held a solo performance with Thurston Moore, who also appeared at HCW, and the co-starring of the Grande / alternator world involved Japanese fans here in a whirlpool of enthusiasm. This year's Hostess Club Weekender comes to Japan as a headliner with his first new work "Give a Grimpse of Howat Yaknot" in four years.
