SSW/pianist from Whitehorse, northwestern Canada, full of nature. Inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan and Randy Newman, he has been greatly influenced by American roots music such as Americanna, Bruce, and Folk. Backed by his skillful piano, emotional singing voice, and skillful songwriting, his music is full of ironic humor and pierces his heart.
In 2012, he released his debut album "Delan O'Donovan". The song "CapSouvenir" was aired on radio songs all over Canada, including CBC Radio 1, and the album was praised by many media, including Tom Weights and Joe Henry.
In the following years, he has repeatedly toured Canada and the United States, and has performed many large festivals such as Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto. In 2014, he was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award of Canada's prestigious Maple Blues Awards, and was highly evaluated.
In 2015, "Delan O'Donovan" was released in Japan from P Bein. In the fall of the same year, he visited Japan for the first time and held a showcase event at the Embassy of Tokyo and Canada and a solo performance in Shimokitazawa. The solo performance was a great success with full capacity, and it is also new to remember that the performance became a hot topic.
In the summer of 2017, he released his second album, Broken Skies, for the first time in five years since his previous album.
