An instrumental duo formed in 2004 by high school classmate Takashi Nomura (key) and Daichi Ito (dr, whistle).
He develops a unique sound that patches New Orleans, R&B, minimal, exotic, fusion, stride piano, breakbeats, and elements using game music and pop techniques. Despite its compact formation of duo, the live performance sprinting with an explosive groove has been highly evaluated and has appeared in many domestic festivals.
To date, he has released three titles, "GOODLUCKHEIWA" (2006), "Patchwork" (2008), and "Thunder" (2009), as well as singles and limited editions. Suspension of activities in 2009 Resuming activities at the end of 2013, and holding the first one-man tour 16 performances after the resumption of activities in September 2016, which will be a great success of selling out in various places. In March 2017, he performed at the largest jazz festival in Southeast Asia, "JAKARTA INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL2017", and held a "100,000 Lumen ☆ Tour" with video artist Takashi Yamaguchi as a guest, and was highly praised for his session with the video that responded to the sound played. Released the first album "Lm" in November 4th.
The instrument band SAKEROCK, which was the start of the music career and the original member of the two music activities, broke up in June 2015. The last live, which became a platinum ticket, was held with about 10,000 people at Ryogoku Kokugikan, one of Japan's leading sumo wrestling facilities. Currently Takashi Nomura is producing film and commercial music. As a representative work, he was in charge of the music of two films by film director Shinobu Yaguchi (28th Japan Academy Awards 5 categories) "WOOD JOB! ~ Godsai Nanaa everyday ~" (2014) and "Survival Family" (2017).
Daichi Ito is involved in many recordings and live support activities for many artists active at the forefront of Japan such as Tamio Okuda, Shigeru Kishida, and Gen Hoshino, led by Haruomi Hosono.
